The Board of Directors of the Institute of Risk Management Tanzania (IRMT) has appointed  Mr. CHRISTOPHER NJOVU as a new GENERAL SECRETARY effective from 1st January 2022 replacing Mr. Fredrick Mgaya whose contract expired on 31st December 2021.

On behalf of the Board of IRMT, we kindly thank Mr. Fredrick Mgaya for his commitment, directions in ensuring the growing of the Institute to the point where it has now become a leading Institute in Risk Management business in Tanzania.

We humbly welcome and wish Mr. Christopher Njovu all the best in this new role as the General Secretary. We do hope, his skills, experiences, exposure and vast knowledge will ensure development and growth of our Institute.

He will continue to promote and recruit professional members both in the private and public sectors and ensure development of the Risk Management Profession in Tanzania and beyond. Let’s give him our support.
